being sentimental.

my usual post holy week routine would be clean up my room and get rid of clothes i no longer use (or those that no longer fit :| ouch.)

as usual the hard part was the "throwing away." i got rid of a bunch of "teacher clothes" from my closet from my substitute teacher days. i had to throw all bat boy tickets that i had still stashed from my FOH days for BlueRep. I had to throw old movie tickets and receipts, because i don't even remember what was special about them. so now that my bookshelf is refilled with med books and trans, i've realized i've gone a long way. from trying theater, trying to teach... i like to believe i didn't fail with those two.. it's just that i realized, i'm here where i always wanted to be. :)

getting rid of all those things after one very very tiring and stressful school year helped me gain perspective. i'll give up less now, strive to do better, and hopefully even excel. the plan is to "Struggle as hard as i can for something i believe in." and imma start with giving my all for head and neck removals. haha.

problem is after next year's holy week, i probably wouldn't even know what to throw. :)
